Southwest Georgia Health Care has been an integral part of Southwest Georgia for the last 30 years. SWGHC provides comprehensive primary health care services through 13 centers: eight Family Practice and Internal Medicine offices located in Americus, Cordele, Eastman, Georgetown, Cusseta, Plains, Richland, and Rochelle; two Urgent Care centers in Americus and Cordele; two Pediatrics centers in Americus and Eastman, and one Dental center in Georgetown. The primary care health centers serve the populations of Chattahoochee, Crisp, Dodge, Quitman, Stewart, Sumter, Webster and Wilcox counties, in addition to adjoining surrounding counties in Georgia, and Barbour County in Alabama.
Southwest Georgia Health Care has a well qualified Medical and Dental Staff of Board-Certified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and dentists. Disciplines include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Women’s Health, Dentistry, and Podiatry. Special programs include the Chronic Disease Management Collaboratives for heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

In addition to accepting all major Insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, PeachState, Wellcare, and Tricare, all services are offered on a sliding fee scale, meaning payment according to one’s income level and family size.
